Agent Bios

David Mechling
David Mechling is originally from Colorado. He attended Colorado State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business law. He has also received a Certificate of Recognition as an Accredited Advisor in Insurance. David has been a Principal of Comprehensive Insurance Services since 1986, specializing in commercial and personal property and casualty insurance. Dave is married and has three sons. He is active in coaching and has been a Cub Master for this son’s Cub Scout pack for the past three years. Other interests include: snow and water skiing, golf and fishing.



J.P. diZerega
J.P. was born and raised in Colorado where he grew up in the Lakewood area and attended Wheat Ridge High School. He received a football scholarship after high school to attend the University of Colorado where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree of communication in 2004. J.P. joined the Comprehensive team in 2005 as a producer who specializes in personal and commercial property casualty. J.P. resides in Denver with his dog “Zeke” (boxer) and enjoys playing golf with his free time. He is currently single.



James T. Mulstay
Jim Mulstay is President and Founder of Comprehensive Insurance Services, Inc. since 1982. Jim graduated from the University of Iowa with at Bachelor of Business Administration degree as an Insurance Major. Jim's duties include management, marketing as well as commercial and personal lines insurance sales. Prior to Comprehensive, Jim was in insurance sales for a local firm and also an international insurance brokerage firm for 8 years. 1972 – 1974 he was employed as a package and bond underwriter for an insurance carrier.



Allison Johnson
Allison has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas, Austin. She is a new recruit in the Insurance field and her background is twenty five years in the mortgage industry. Allison is a long time resident of Colorado and currently lives in Littleton with her husband and two teenage children. Allison enjoys walking their family’s Beagle, volunteering for the Fine Arts program at her sons High School and reading.



Nathan Campbell
Nathan Campbell is a native of Colorado who grew up wreaking havoc in Arvada with his four younger brothers. He attended high school at Arvada West, and went on to graduate from the University of Colorado with a degree in Finance and Molecular Biology in 2000. Nathan joined the team at Comprehensive Insurance Services in 2008 specializing in personal and commercial property and casualty insurance. He lives in Denver with his new wife Lauren and enjoys golf, snowboarding and travel.
